A: Hours may vary by stylist as we are independent contractors and we are open by appointment. For specific hours for each stylist, please visit the "Our team" page. Typical hours are listed in individual bios.
Q: Where do I park?
A: We have a large parking lot with tons of spaces directly in the front of the building.
Q: What should I expect when I walk into Studio Alles?
A: Studio Alles is pretty homey. Make yourself at home. If you have an appointment, walk in, hang up your coat, grab a beverage from the beverage bar, and have a seat. Your stylist will be with you asap.
Q: I'm not sure what I want. What is the best way to discuss this?
A: We all offer basic complimentary consultations prior to your appointment. If you really need a good think on it, this is a great option. You may also reach out to your stylist directly. The best way to contact them is listed within their bios on the "Our Team" page. Also, please bring inspirational images. We love a good Pinterest board or an Instagram screenshot. This can help us see what you are saying and learn how to best speak about visual things with you.
Q: Why do I need to provide my credit card information before my appointment?
A: Unfortunately, we have seen a surge in clients not showing up for their appointment or cancelling last minute. While we understand that life happens, when this situation occurs, it is impossible for us to fill these time slots at such sort notice. Thus, we lose income that we were expecting. It is our policy that short notice cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the value of their service depending on the circumstances.
Q: What about kids? Do you cut kid's hair? Can I bring them to my appointment"
A: Some of us do kid's hair. Some don't. Kids cuts at Studio Alles are for ages 10 and under. Your service time is time for you, and all the other clients in the shop at the time. Our salon tools are dangerous and expensive and our space has many fragile items. We understand that sometimes this is the only option. If this is the case, please be sure that your child is capable of behaving calmly and seated while unsupervised. If that isn't happening, we may have to stop your service and reschedule.
Q: What if I want a style that traditionally is not for my gender?
A: Gender has no ownership over a hairstyle. We understand that this may be a new and potentially intimidating situation for you. We are here to assist you in achieving a look that makes you feel good. You're in the right place.
Q: I booked my appointment online. How can I be sure it went through properly?
A; When you set up your personal account to book online you will have provided an email address and a phone number. Once your online booking is completed, you will receive an automated confirmation via text, email or both. That will depend on what information you included at the time of your account setup. If you did not receive any form of confirmation, please call the shop and leave a message to double check.
Q: I may require special accommodations. How do I check into this? I.E. I need wheelchair accessibility, a silent appointment, or a private appointment.
A: Wheelchairs? We are ADA compliant. You shouldn't have any issues.
A: Silent appointments? No problem. We all have a need for quiet time on occasion. It's not weird. Just reach out to your stylist pre appointment, or discuss during the consultation portion of your scheduled appointment and chats will be kept to the bare minimum.
A: Private appointments? Ugh. We are so sorry, but private appointments cannot be guaranteed. Our stylists are independent contractors and have the right to work when it's best for them and take any client that they choose at any time. Our space is very open and every space is visible to every other space.
